IPhone 5

Today is the day! Yes it's Friday but its also the day of the most coveted release in technology; the iPhone 5. [halo appears from heaven] I've been doing my homework on the days leading up to the release and it seems that the most speculated 5 was just as described. Bigger screen (height-wise), A6 processor (faster performance), and new design. Both the design from the black and the white phone were beautifully designed, sleek, sexy and unnoticeably taller. I was kinda excited but not too excited because there wasn't much difference than its predecessor .
Although, I have to say that when I went to the Verizon store today and tested it out, the A6 speed of the browser was amazingly fast. Pretty much left my 4S in the dust when trying to connect to Google. I'm geeked for the 5 for that simple fact. Just not that geeked since the price tag for "me" is a little overwhelming.
Ill get it eventually; maybe when my upgrade price subsides. Who know??

Windows 7

As a get a moment of solitude, I thought I'd blog right now. It's Monday and right now I'm in an area I've never been before. An area that's all but familiar to me. A foreign area know as the Windows 7 deployment room. This seems to be my new diggs since I got word on Friday that I'd be transferring to the Windows 7 project. This room tends to be a small, dimly lit room surrounded by a round, panel-esqe , table flooded with computers, a printer, and a switch for networking the PCs. Seems quite intimidating but I'm prepared for it. I'm sitting here typing my life away as I constantly glance at intermittent drizzles through the oversize windows. Wait, there's windows in my new office??!?
Also, windows (in my office) actually coincides with windows (7)

Anywho as I sit here and wait for Outlook to indicate a new email to propose that I'm actually doing something, I guess I'll stop blogging and think of something to do.....or at least ask questions. #kanyeshrug

EARLY DAY

Started my RSA deactivation today at OPC. It actually didn't seem as bad today. I guess because I was running back and forth to nagging, siddity ass peoples. Anyway it was all good today and I actually finished like 150 -240 users deactivation by 1:00 so my timing was great. Bob was kinda surprised but I wasn't at all. You kinda learn to hang on to repetitive tasks and you develop a process that consolidates the project in large part. I'm currently on the shuttle bus back to Station Place. Thinking about leaving early so I can go find some slacks, khakis preferably.

Deactivation

Kinda got screwed over today in one way or another. Let me tell you. *have a seat*. First I had to go to OPC to deploy this ladies' PC. I was trying to postpone it to Tues or Weds but her blatant bitching said otherwise. Ok, so I go there to deploy her computer and she was pretty cool by the end of the deployment. Wasn't too tech savvy as she knew half of what I was talking about but all in all she was cool. Next, I finish that and go back to my batcave *ahem* office and I get an telly2k4@yahoo.com from my boss stating that I was switching programs. She said that I had to deactivate the RSA tokens from the recent RSA distribution. FAAAAAACCCCKKK!! Definitely didn't expect that news but it is what it is. Besides it would only be for this week so it was more of a temporary than a permanent thing so im content. The only catch was that I would have to report to OPC. #facepalm Everything about this place sucks!!!! The people, the meager food selection, the people and did I mention the meager food selection. In addition to that the fucking vending machine took my money with no fucking juice in return. But I told a good Chinese friend about and he held me down.#staytuned

Bumper to Bumper

Hi! It's me again....and I'm blogging from the same place as yesterday. You guess it....the shuttle bus. That's right I'm On my way back to station place. The only uninviting thing about this is the bumper to bumper traffic. It's about 2:58 on a Thursday evening so I kinda gotta expect it. Good thing I ain't driving! #kanyeshrug Oh well, I don't care TOO much ...I'm getting paid transporting back and forth so take your little ol' time time traffic. d
I'm currently bumping Lil Weezy on the the Carter album ....this dat #crankage....back when Wayne shit was hot!!
Anyway, can't wait to get off and take these certifications. I'm reevaluating my character to try to initiate a better, proactive, more responsive me.

The Waiting Game

Wassup people? How are you on this rainy, quite sullen looking day? Me. I'm fine, just waiting on the shuttle bus to arrive. It's 2:16 and the bus ain't come yet. Where the hell is it? If they ran into traffic, I'm screwed! *palms face* . So I guess I'll play the waiting game for now until a get an indication that the bus is coming *sigh* No rush I guess. I mean I am getting paid for it so it ain't that bad.
Can't wait to get back to SP though so I can eat this lasagna and toast this garlic bread. *rubs stomach* Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I'm currently on the shuttle bus back to SEC Station Place to finish deploying these PCs with Geoff. Just made this quick run to OPC to deploy these 2 machines to this whiny doucebag guy. Dude acted like he couldn't wait so I had to take the bid.

Got to work quite early this morning. 8:05 to be exact only to report to SEC Headquarters. You ask why? Oh I didn't tell you? I got transferred back to the Windows7 incompatibility team but with that comes a price. That price is that I have to report to OPC from now on. Let me remind you that OPC is in Springfield....fucking Springfield!!!

Rainy Woes

It's Monday aka mundane Monday. It's raining outside, the sun isn't out, the birds aren't chirping, and the bees aint stinging. Had to leave out for work early do I couldn't eat any crunch berries and on top of the rain I had to use my girls cosmetically-clad umbrella for shelter. What a day already!!
It doesn't stop there though. I stop at McDonalds to get a chicken biscuit an they give me this little ass piece of chicken. What the hell am I gon do with this Lil ass chicken??? #shameoneyoumcdonalds.
I surely hope that's the end of my somewhat unfortunate Monday streak.
I do have some Good news though. My coworker brought the best cookies in the world from the cafe #otisspunkmeyer

Barbershop

A beautiful, no, hot Saturday morning. I'm taking this time too get my hair cut because I been wolfin all week. I attempted to get my hair cut on the 4th but it was closed due to the holiday. Anyway, I'm just sitting in the shop lobby bored as ever waiting to be next in line for my cut. I'm actually resulting to reading this "Sister 2 Sister" magazine sitting next to me. Smh #thatshitcray Ik. On top of that my iPhone is at a meager. 28%. I get antsy anytime I fall below 50% so at 28% I'm on edge.
Anywho, let me get on with my day. I'm sure you guys would rather not her about the boredom Im experiencing. I mean your probably sleep somewhere or on your way out of town opt getting dressed for your best friends wedding.

5th of July

Had a great, somewhat okay Independence Day. The monument fireworks were actually better than last years event and seemed a little longer (5 mins longer). All in all it was okay, had the food, fam, and friends to catch up with. Had a bunch of people who I didn't know their that seemed to fill their plates every time I turned around.

Besides that, I believe I missed 2-3 consecutive days of posting. (sorry fans) 3 DAYS!!!!! <--- [CAPS LOCK VOICE ] I was actually thinking about posting Tuesday but I was a bit lazy.

At work now waiting for work tasks to show up so I can have something to do other than have this free time to post redundant shit lol jk. Oh well let me get back to work to do nothing. STAY TUNED!!!

Lights Out

Last night and continuing this morning there was a big ass power outage throughout the DC area (including parts of MD). It's actually still in progress as I write this post. It's definitely a blower because I can't do anything. No TV, no Internet, no XBOX, no PS3, no nothing!!!! The storm even knocked out my cell service and I COULDN'T EVEN POST TO INSTAGRAM OR FACEBOOK!!!! I mean these are things I strive for, or at least the Internet alone. It was more of a shocker than anything not only because the lights went via wind but because shit like this never happens in this area. It was an unprecedented occurrence.
So I spent my night throwing back Ciroc shots w/ my lady, lighting the house with candles, having excessive fits due to the downfall of all the electronics that keep me sane. It was actually kinda fun, at least until
I got drunk and hurled in the bath tub and eventually fell asleep. #dontjudgeme Through this all I had to deal with the lack of A/C in addition to one of the hottest days this day. I believe it was an 100+ degree that day.

All in all it was okay though. Got to have a little quality time with the fam which is always a good thing.

Good News

It'sssssssss Fridaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy (in dude from radio voice). Nice hot Friday morning, birds are chirping, dogs are barking and car horns are honking.

Got word yesterday that I've been approved for an apartment. Go me!!! Should be moving in in a week or so- or less. I can't wait cuz my apartment gon be laid out pretty nice especially when my lady put the finishing touches on it. Oh yeah, I feel freeer than a baby bird in flight.

Ok now let me get back to work, got work to do. (just kidding) but no seriously I'll catch up to you guys later.

Thursday

It's Thursday again, that most coveted day next to Friday. One day away to the weekend. Also know as jueves in the Spanish language. At work now, just finished my McDonalds. Had a Sausage mcgriddle and a sweet tea cup filled with sprite and Hi-C. Nothing to do at work again but I'll find some way to be productive.
Later 2 of my coworkers comes in and not empty handed. They've come bearing a gift. 3 big ass bags of gummy worms!!! Ima have a helluva sugar rush this morning. Stay tuned!!!

Change of Plans

At work doing "work" of course ad surprisingly my boss walks in. I get the news that I'm being transferred to the Blackberry deployment. Anybody that knows me knows I don't fuck with Blackberries or crackberries. It's #teamiphone all day!!! Not too thrilled about the news but at least ill be stationed at the same place in the same room. Some days I might have to ship out. It's all good tho....at least I have a job! :-)

Well, it's Wednesday. Not much to do (or say) in the middle of the week. Nothing really exciting about Wednesday except thats it the halfway mark to the weekend. I'll drink to that. [Shot of Bourbon please]. I do find that I'm actually doing work today (physical work) which I find more entertain. It helps the day go by quicker. Hopefully I do have something to do all day. New Gig

It's 10:48, I'm currently at work and my status is idle. Not much to do when no one is available for me to deploy their Winows7-compatible PCs. Oh I forgot, I got a new gig working as a sub-contractor for the SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) bye bye Best Buy. Lol. Anyway, I work as a Tech Deployment Specialist which basically means I deploy upgraded computers to other contractors and non-contractors alike in exchange for their old dinosaur machines. It's a pretty good gig and I actually love doing it. I started this about two weeks ago and since then I've been sticking to it. Okay, I'm fairly new to the Jon so let me get back to work.
